Suspect declined search of backpack in connection with petty theft. The suspect was unable to account for the merchandise discovered by the LP officer. Subsequently, the suspect underwent a strip search in order to find additional items. We did not find any. Given the suspect's good character, the LP officer let him or her make amends in the community without involving the police. Recorded evidence
