At 5:44 PM on April 12th, a suspect was arrested for petty theft after they attempted to take multiple items (Case 876952). An LP officer observed a person putting items into a purse with the intention of stealing them. Additional items may have been concealed on the suspect's person, according to the LP officer. To gather more evidence for the case, a strip search was started. The suspect reluctantly followed the instructions. We discussed and settled on ways to fix the problem and avoid arrest.
